It bugs me that people feel like bad Directioners when they don’t know one of the inside jokes. 

That’s how we as a fandom treat people. If they missed out on one “inside joke,” they aren’t considered a true fan. I know I’ve missed out on a lot, but I still consider myself a true fan. I don’t know a few of their inside jokes because I haven’t been able to watch their most recent videos, and I haven’t seen a few old ones. I don’t think that makes me a “bad Directioner,” but that’s what this fandom makes me out to be.
